John Brice, Founder & President
About John
My name is John Brice, and I have been in the construction field for over 40 years. I started out as a laborer in my 20s and have loved working with wood eve since. The first log home I helped build was on a gentleman’s farm where we harvested the logs off his property, sawed two flat sides with a portable sawmill powered by a tractor, and started stacking logs. I was about 22 years old at the time.
In 1986, Hometown Builders was established, and we started doing renovations and additions. It wasn’t very long after that that we started building homes of all sorts.
We have been building log and timber frame homes for over 25 years. In 2007, we became Missouri Hometown Builders, LLC., and we have continued to use our God-given talents to build extraordinary homes, including conventionally-framed homes, hybrid homes, log home, and timber frame homes.
I have been married to my beautiful wife for 41 years. We are blessed with 3 children, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. We are looking forward to helping you plan and build the home of your dreams!
